She authored 6 successful cookery books – Cook, My Dar, Everyday Indian, No Onion-No Garlic, Vrat Ka Khaana, The Microwave Indian Cookbook and Cooking the UP Way. One thing led to another and before she knew it, she was the hostess for the popular culinary show Khaana Khazana on Zee T.V.
