Synopsis The book Reproductive Health, Gender and Development: An International Perspective is a Festschrift dedicated to Prof. K. Mahadevan, whose lifetime achievements as a great teacher and researcher in most branches of social development and population science will inspire future researchers and teachers to aim similarly to climb the peak of allround professional achievement.
