Synopsis India is an ancient country where many civilizations have emerged, flourished and perished. Earliest discovered in Harappa and Mohenjodaro which flourished in about 3100 BC or before. The Muslims and their clergy of foreign origin birth to two nation theory under the divide and rule policy of British government in India to prolong their rule which ultimately resulted in partition of India into Pakistan and Indian Union. The Hindu-Muslim riots that followed just before partition claimed 6,00,000 lives beside resulting in migration of one hundred and forty million mostly Hindus and Sikhs. The present book gives an authoritative account of Indian history in its pristine glory to the present state of affairs.
