HPLC: High Performance Liquid Chromatography: Quantitative Analysis of Pharmaceutical Formulations (Volume II)
HPLC is presently the most widely used chromatographic method of analysis. The analysts have now achieved the necessary skill and expertise in practical application of this technique. With ever increasing introduction of newer drug combinations, the analysts frequently confront the challenge of devising suitable validated methods of analysis for each ingredient in such formulations. To circumvent the time-consuming process of literature search or need to memorize volumes of facts, effort has been made to help the analysts to access needed information in timely manner. HPLC methods of analysis for about 300 recently introduced multi-component formulations have been described in sequel to volume 1. Most of these methods are claimed by the authors to have been validated as per established guidelines. This, in fact, will facilitate easier and faster optimization of the methods for actual laboratory use. Main focus has been clearly and sharply on practical applications. The source from where analytical information has been retrieved has been cited under each protocol. The basic format of volume 2 has been retained as that of volume 1.
