Smriti Ratna Mishra

Dr. Smriti Ratna Mishra (b. 22-09-1967) obtained his M.Sc. in Zoology (1986), M.Phil. (1987), Ph.D. in Limnology (1991) and B.Ed. (1997) with first rank from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He has five years experience of research and teaching in the field of Limnology and fisheries. He is a fellow of Zoology Academy of India. He has published more than 26 research papers and reviews in the journals of national and international repute and attended many conferences and symposia pertaining to the subject. He has edited four books namely “Aquatic Ecology” (1992), “Assessment of Water Pollution” (1996), “Limnological Research in India” (1999) and “Management of Aquatic Habitats” (2002). Dr. Mishra is now working as a lecturer in Tribal Welfare Department of Madhya Pradesh Government. In an Tele-conferencing teachers training programme through satellite, organized by T.W.D., M.P. Government, he has participated as a subject specialist. This programme was to facilitate teachers of remote areas to get their problems solved immediately on phone lines.
