Kanti Lal Das specialized in Logic, Philosophy of Language and Environmental Ethics, is a Reader in the Department of Philosophy, University of North Bengal. Apart from this volume his publication includes a book entitled The Philosophical Relevance of Language: A Methodological Reflection and Twenty publications in various professional journals. At present he is deeply engaged in co-editing an anthology entitled language and Ontology, and also in research on Untouchability-A Crisis of Humanism and Buddhism and Deep Ecology: a Comparative Study.
