Kanti Lal Das specialized in Logic, Philosophy of Language and Environmental Ethics, is a Reader in the Department of Philosophy, University of North Bengal. Apart from this volume his publication includes a book entitled The Philosophical Relevance of Language: A Methodological Reflection and Twenty publications in various professional journals. At present he is deeply engaged in co-editing an anthology entitled language and Ontology, and also in research on Untouchability-A Crisis of Humanism and Buddhism and Deep Ecology: a Comparative Study.

Jyotish Chandra Basak

Jyotish Chandra Basak specialized in Analytic Philosophy, Logic and Ethics, is at present Reader and Head of the Department of Philosophy, University of North Bengal. He has published a dozen of articles in various professional journals.
