While Vols. 111-130 focus on indepth study of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Assam. Vols, 131-150 are on Meghalaya, Marathas, Rise of British Powerin India, Freedom Movement and Freedom Fighters. Dr. Shyam Singh Shashi Ph.D. in Social Anthropology  2 Hails from a village“ Bahadurpur Jutt near Hardwar in U.P. (1936). Has many books in English and Hindi to his credit. Over a dozen books on Indian tribes and culture viz. Nomads of the Himalayas, Tribal women of India, Shepherds of India, Gaddi Tribe of Himachal, Roma-the Gypsies, etc. Over two dozen books for children, fourteen collections of poems including one epic. Edited Himalayas, a monthly journal for two years and Sainik Samachar, a weekly journal of Armed Forces for seven and a half year. Undertook examinership and guidance for Ph.D. scholars, etc., and various assignments like teaching in the Universities.
