Somu Giriappa

Somu Giriappa has published many books on rural development, ranging from development theory to evaluation of various programmes. He has also written on agricultural economics, irrigation development and rural energy. His recent books have been on “The Impact of Information Technology on Banks” and on a project on the human resource development in banks. He is a professor in Chair in rural Banking and Management, Mangalore University which he is jointly sponsored by Syndicate Bank and Canara Bank. His contact address is [email protected].
