Society should affirm women, to bring out the best in each one of them. The methods of women’s education should have to be participatory and to be non-stratified. Women must be anxious to set their own plan and priority via their own rate of learning. The educational procedure ought to construct them to feel good about themselves, fabricate their self-confidence and self-respect unleashes their inspiration, make them feel active and blissful. Hence, this edited volume will benefit scholars, teachers, policy makers moving forward aptly in understanding the education as important tool for achieving gender equality and how education can empower women and also understand that any society or nation cannot move forward without educating women.

Vikram Singh has completed his doctorate degree from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. His specialisation is biodiversity especially faunal diversity. His areas of interest are the issues of biodiversity, wild life ecology, wildlife conservation, sustainable development and environment. He has actively worked on issue of wild animal-human conflict especially man monkey conflict in Himachal Pradesh. Presently he is working as Assistant Professor in Zoology (ad hoc) in Department of Zoology, Acharya Narendra Dev College Govindpuri, Delhi. He is also working on the status and ecology of Semnopthicus ajax in Chamba. Previously he has also worked on antiplasmodial effects of plant extracts against malaria parasite.
