About the authors

Vinod Singh

Dr. Vinod Singh is presently working as Lecturer in Geography at Govt. Dungar College, Bikaner.  He did his M.A. (Geography), M.Phil and PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.  His field of interest is urban environmental and socio-economic problems.  He has been teaching physical and human geography and climatology to undergraduate as well as post-graduate classes.  He is awarded fellowship for his PhD fieldwork to Singapore by JNU, New Delhi.  He is currently executing a research project on Urban Wastes Management.

A.P. Rao

Dr. A.P. Rao presently working as Dean College of Fisheries, Professor and Head, Department of Fishery Biology and Resource Management and Dean, Students’ Welfare at N.D. University of Agriculture and Technology, Kumarganj, Faizabad (U.P.). Prof. Rao has more than 30 years of experience in teaching, research and extension. He has published more than 100 research papers in journals of repute and he has written one book and four manuals.
