Maestro Pandit Bhawani Shankar through his performance on his Pakhawaj has depicted the million year journey of our planet till now. According to the Vedas the universe come into being through the sound of the divine word 'Om'. With the Formation of earth along came the sound, light and water. And it is thought that over a period of time tiny life forms were born which paved way for the life that we know today. Eventually man began to communicate which gave way to different kinds of sounds and music. The vedas played a very important role in the music evolution. Pandit Bhawani Shankar along with Pakhawaj has brought in many other instruments to create a sound which one can relate to this journey.
