Rajkumar Bharathi is a mine of talent whose voice has the resonance of a male and the sweet melodic fluency of a female singer. His caring diction successfully conveying the emotions of the composer is the delight of the listener. He is a consummate carnatic musician who is equally brilliant in the genre of light music. Thygaraja the saint composer of Tiruvaiyar has composed a number of krithis pertaining to the one raga one krithi syndrome. A few of such compositions have been presented in this album with Rajkumar Bharathi being at his vintage best. This CD well deserves the space in the connoisseur's shelf.
