About the author

T.L. Devaraj

Prof. T.L Devaraj, a post-graduate degreeholder in Ayurveda from Banaras Hindu University, served as a lecturer, assistant professor and professor of Ayurveda. At present he is working as Professor and Head of the Department of Post-graduate Studies (M.D.) in Shalya Tantra at G.C.I.M., Bangalore. He is a member of the Board of Studies in Ayurveda for Bangalore and Mysore universities. Besides being an academician, he is practising physician and examiner for different subjects of Ayurveda in several universities in India. He has to his credit 21 books on Ayurveda, out of which three have been recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine for degree courses. This book, Ayurveda for Perfect Health, is his 22nd book in which he has explained the basic concepts of Ayurveda and its golden rule of healthy body and mind to promote perfecte health. He has been awarded an international award and honoured for his outstanding contribution to Ayurveda by His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Sharda Peetam. The title Ayurveda Bhaskara was awarded to him by Shri B.D. Jatti, the former Vice-President.
