The Rise... and Rise of AAP

Anoop Kumar Diwan (Author)
Synopsis

Indian politics is currently undergoing catharsis thanks to the arrival of newest political party AAP on the political map of India. In just over one year of coming into existence, AAP is already making its presence felt on the national scene.

AAP has shown in Delhi that elections can be won without big money or muscle power and its victory in Delhi is a message to other big parties that disillusioned voters in India will no longer vote based on emotional factors like caste or religion. They won't go just by the party but also take a hard look at candidates these parties give tickets to.

The vote in Delhi was for clean candidates and an honest government. Will this message resonate once again in coming 2014 Lok Sabha elections? Will AAP manage to surprise political pundits and critics with yet another spectacular show at national level in 2014? Read on The Rise... and Rise of AAP for answers.

About the author

Anoop Kumar Diwan

Dr. Anoop Kumar Diwan is a practicing Doctor in Delhi who has become a keen admirer of Aam Aadmi brand of politics. And this admiration alone has prompted him to write about politics in general and Aam Aadmi Party in particular.

He is like millions of others just an ordinary supporter of AAP but believes that AAP can be the great catalyst of change, which this country is desperately looking for, from the regressive brand of politics practiced so far by traditional parties for long at the cost of common man in India.

The Rise... and Rise of AAP is his second book after Life Afterlife, a book on spiritual fiction, which was released in 2012.
