Kumudranjan Naskar

Dr. Kumudranjan Naskar (born 27-01-1949), National Fellow & Principals Scientist, ICAR was Awarded as â€˜National Fellowâ€™ w.e.f. 24-01-1995 and posted at Central Inland Fisheries Research Institute, Kolkata. Dr. Naskar earned his M.Sc. Degree (Botany) during 1972 and Ph.D. Degree in 1985 from the University of Calcutta. Since his joining at CIFRI, Dr. Naskar investigated on the Economic Botanical aspects related to fisheries potentialities on inland water bodies and estuaries and roles played by aquatic plants and mangroves on fish and fisheries.
