About the authors

Vivek Garg

Vivek Garg, born in Delhi in an educated family, is a product of Delhi University. Since young, he has fought against corruption and ill customs of the society. He lives as a critical, analytical person, making pragmatic assessment. He always got motivation from the life of Sardar Patel, Bhagat Singh. Presently, he is also a student of Law and running a political party which works without politics. He is fighting a war with pen to tell the world that India not only can win the battle by bullet but also by pen. One of his dream is to convert all fighters into writers. Dr. Manmohan Singh fascinated him when he was Finance Minister of India. Vivek dreamt at that time that this man really deserves to be the Prime Minister which came true now. Dr. Manmohan Singh has always been an honest and ideal person for him. Widely traveled in India and abroad, Vivek married Prachi in 2002.

Nirendra Dev

Nirendra dev is rooted in studies on ethnic and communal conflicts. Born and brought up in Nagaland and with wide range of journalistic experience under his belt by way of covering northeast insurgency, Gujarat riots, agro-economy and national politics, he has authored Godhra-journey To Mayhem and The Taking Guns: North East India. He is now a special Representative with The Statesman in New Delhi Bureau and was stationed at Ayodhya during the turbulent days of 30 September 2010 Verdict. 

His other journalistic assignments include extensive coverage of the entire drama of hijack of Indian Airlines aircraft, 1999; the US President Bill Clinton’s India visit, 200; Bhuj earthquake 2001; and the crime syndicate and don-cops nexus of Mumbai. He has also participated in Defence Correspondents’ Course at Military College of combat at Mhow. Dev’s areas of interest range form strategic and defence studies to geo-political issues is South Asia And Africa.
