Anjani Kumar

Dr. Anjani Kumar (b. 1962) did his M.A. in ancient Indian History and Archaeology from Patna University in 1981. He is a recepient of the University Gold Gold Medal. He was awarded the degree of Ph.D. by the University of Patna in 1989 on his thesis â€œArt and Architecture of Old Gaya District.â€™ Dr. Kumar has shown keen interest in the study of art and archaeology of Bihar. He participated in archaeological excavations at Chirand and Taradih conducted by the Patna University and State Govt. of Bihar. He has also contributed several research articles in prestigious journals.
