About the authors

Dinendra Raychaudhuri

Dinendra Raychaudhuri is Professor of zoology at the University of Calcutta, Kolkata since 1981. He also served RKM Vivekananda Centenary College, Rahara and Kalyani University for a brief period. He is the author of 175 artivle on insects and spiders. Other than being author of several books, monographs and chapters, He is one of the well known Entomologist of repute in India and abroad. He is the recipient of several distinctions and honours.

Sumana Saha

Sumana Saha, joined Entomology Laboratory of the University of Calcutta in 1990 as Research Fellow for the doctoral. in the year 1997, after being awarded with the Ph.D., she joined Lady Brabourne college, Govt. of west Bengal as Assistant Professor. she has authpred some 100 articles including books/monographs and popular article. She has bagged few honours in these 22 years of research career. Equally she is popular teacher of the city of the present time.
