A Controversy remains whether all sects had separate Book(s) of Discipline, Vinaya(s). According to the Chinese sources Lutsung developed and several Buddhist texts of Indian origin are preerved in Chinese translation. Many of them hold no original versions in Indian Language.

Mulasarvastivada Vinaya Manuscript in Sanskrit found in GiLgit (now in Pakistan) is significant in comparison with the theravada Vinaya in Pali. It comprehensive study has been awaiting. The author engaged in researches of this field for years to focus on it.

Dr. Anandamayee Ghosh is Associate Professor of Department of Indo-Tibetan Studies of Visa - Bharati, Santiniketan a Central Government University. Her equipment in Chinese and Tibetan Language is know in India and Abroad. Her previous work with exhaustive field study among the Bhotia speaking communities in Indian Himalays is well-received in the academic field.

She is also engaged in Buddhist studies researches on Mulasarvastivada Vinaya for years. She has widely travelled in USA, England, Europe specially, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, A score of learned articles published in Research Journals of India and abroad goes to her credit.
