It is concerned with ethics in different professions and industries—service industry, steel industry, patents, medicine, data mining, media and advertising and human resource development among others. It examines the role of morality in developing good ethics in the society. It focuses on corporate governance in India, particularly its ethical foundations and the way to achieve this. It presents religious perspectives—those of the major religions—specifically referring to ethics: the Hindu view of spirituality, ethics in Islam from a historical-spiritualist perspective, the Zoroastrian way of life. It also discusses corporate spirituality in the modern era. It emphasises the importance of green initiatives for sustainable development.
