Guava Diseases: An Annotated Bibliography 1907-1990

Om Prakash (Author) A.K. Misra (Author)
Synopsis It was felt that an annotated bibliography which could cover the publications of all diseases of guava in one place would be one of the most useful bibliographic tools that could be provided for the research workers working in the area of fruit diseases in India and abroad. We have made an attempt to bring out all the informations available on guava diseases in a consolidated form from all possible sources. The present annotated bibliography covers papers published from 1907 to 1990 and is arranged in an alphabetical order according to the sur names of the authors. An edited abstract is provided restricting to the work on guava diseases, its pathogen and its information on other host or vice versa. The annotated bibliography follows author index, year index, host index, subject index and classified index which will be useful in locating the information quickly. The bibliography includes 341 citations from 1907 to 1990. The fact that only 341 abstracts could be collected in a period of more than 80 years clearly indicates the scant attention is paid to diseases of this crop. Efforts have been made to include all available information from every possible sources.
