Prof. G.K. Kulkarni (b. 1950) Professor and Head, dept. of Zoology, Dr. B.S.A. Marthwada University, Aurangabad (M.S.)-431004 supervised 15 Ph.D. students, published more than 110 research papers in National/International Journals, specialized in Comparative Animal Physiology, Endocriminology, Biochemistry, cell biology and Ecotoxicology, etc., Work quoted in many books published from Academic press and CRC Press; Principal investigator of more than 7 major research project funded by UGC, CSIR, DST and Ministry of Environment & Forests, member/Life members of a number of professional/academic bodies; Singapore, U.K. and Malaysia, attended /chaired many seminars; recipients of many awards and Gold Medals including Congress of zoology and Prof. J.S. Datta Munshi by Zoological Society of India. At present he is devoted to teaching and research.
