Dr. Kotaru Ravi Sankar (b. 1962) is presently a Reader in the School of Management Studies, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi. His areas of Specialisation are: Financial Management, Banking and Financial Services. He had a very distinguished academic record all through his studies. He has completed his Masterâ€™s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Andhra University, Waltair and Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) from Nagarajuna University, Guntur. He has been working at IGNOU for the past 14 year as a Faculty Member in the School of Management Studies. He has published about 10 articles, both in the fields of Management and Distance Education, in reputed Journals like The Learning and The Indian Journal of Commerce. He has participated in many Seminars, Conferences and Workshops both in the areas of Management and Distance Education.
