In Indian context, care and support is one of the major challenges to be faced by the elderly in near future. In order to address the focal theme, on the one side, information was collected and presented here about the care and support viz., emotional economic and physical, received by elderly persons and on the other side how best these dimensions of care and support has been extended by the caregivers problems if any while extending such care and circumstances under which the particular person become as care giver to the elderly have also been explored and presented in this book. The conclusions in the book would be immensely useful for formulating strategies for the well being of the elderly as well as caregivers.
