Synopsis

The Conference theme Social issues: Human Trafficking rights of migrant workers and their education recognised that not all development was good in the public interest and that collaboration through partnerships was the best option likely to provide for both economic and social development.

The editor, Dr. Manjumohan Mukherjee is working at the Department of Social Work, Visvabharati, Santiniketan. He is recognized as one of the leading personality in India in the field of Psychiatric Social Work. He has visited U.S.a. under Council of International Programme at Clevenland. He is recipient of award of Council of International Fellowship and visited Austria as guest speaker in Vienna, Presently he is Vice-President of Indian Society of Professional Social Work. He has participated in several conferences in India and abroad. He has visited several countries such as United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Hungary, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, U.S.A., Austria etc. His earlier publication is Hippies in India.
