Synopsis Shikshas and Pratishakhyas are two categories that constitute the sources of Indian phonetics: the former (phonetics) dealing with pronunciation in general and the latter dealing with pronunciation of the four Vedas and their branches. The volume contains well-researched articles that delve into aspects of shikshas and pratishakyas with respect to different works and concepts.
