Dr. yogesh c sud - got impressed thumbing through the book Jun, 15, 2011

I found the book by my long-time colleague and friend Professor C P Arora on the website and I thumbed through it; overall it is an interesting book. It contains a lot of worthwhile material for student(s) interested in thermodynamic basis of the evolution and design of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment. There is so much detail on almost all the topics related to the field. Naturally therefore, one can't fault the author for missing out on any worthwhile information. On the other hand, to read so much in a one or two semester course may not leave time for the knowledge to germinate in the reader's head. Taking out details and adding it as "food for thought" material may make assimilating the knowledge a little more interesting for an innovative student.
