Dr. Kanaya Lal Bhat Professor, Division of Vegetable Science and Floriculture, Shre-e-kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology (J &K). Dr. Bhat received his Ph.D. in Vegetable Science from HPKV, Palampur (HP) in 2004. he has taught vegetable science courses to M.Sc and Ph.D. students at SKUASTK and SKUAST Jammu for about 20 years and has guided a number of M.Sc and a Ph. D student in the discipline of vegetable production. He is author of numerous research papers and has written extensively in scientific press and for the general public. He has participated in several national seminars and workshops on vegetable. He has to his credit on book viz., Minor Vegetables Un-tapped Potential, which has received wide acclaim from the students of agriculture, horticulture and vegetable growers.
