Dr. P. Mohana Rao (b. 1952) was born in the State of Orissa and educated in Orissa. He is currently serving as a Reader in Commerce, Post-Graduate Department of Commerce, S.K.C.G. College, Paralakhemundi, Orissa. He has contributed a number of articles and research papers in leading journals. He has completed post-doctoral projects on: (i) Profitability and Working Capital Management in Public Sector Undertakings, funded by ICSSR, New Delhi; (ii) Working of Mutual Fund Organisations in India, funded by UGC, New Delhi; and (iii) Corporate social Reporting Polices and Practices in Indian Joint Stock Companies, funded by ICSSR, New Delhi. He has a long twenty years of teaching and research experience. He is teaching post-graduate courses since 1985. He is supervising research scholars leading to the award of Ph.D. degree. His areas of specialization are Financial Management, Accounting, Management Accounting and Specialized Accounting. He has published as many as 15 books in the area of Accounting and Financial Management.
