Prof. K. Venugopal, B.E., M.Sc. (Engg.), F.I.S.E., M.I.S.T.E., is Professor of Mechanical Engineering (Retd.), Government College of Technology, Coimbatore. He had been on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu over a period of 35 years. He is a recipient of The Best Citizen of India award from the International Publishing House, New Delhi. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Standards Engineers of the B.I.S. and Life Member of I.S.T.E.
