About the authors

Mohan Pd. Shrivastava

Dr. Mohan Prasad Sjhrivastave, Professor of Economics in M.U. Bodhgaya, has also been teaching economics for more than twenty five years and has also contributed several papers to journals of national repute and is the author of five books. He is one of the counselors of IGNOU in P.G. DRDA.

Jaishankar Singh

Dr. Jaishankar Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Tax, Jharkhand was born in 1957 in Rohtas District (Sasaram, Bihar), graduated from Patna College (Patna) in Economics Hons. in 1977 and M.A. in Economics with First Class First (Goldmedalist) in 1980 and Ph.D. from Magadh University, Bodh Gaya. He served as a University Teacher under Magadh University Service in Economics for 9 years and also taught journalism in Sachidanand Sinha Institute of Mass Media, Communication and Journalism, Patna for 5 years.

Dr. Singh joined Bihar Finance Service in 1989 and is presently serving as an Assistant Commissioner of Commercial Taxes at Investigation Bureau Hazaribagh Division (Jharkhand) as well as Nodel Officer of Value Added Tax of Jharkhand.

He is actively involved in organising various field extension activities in VAT, Dairying and management and has also contributed more than 10 papers.
