Zakia, a student of the International Center of Photography, New York has been a photographer for over 10 years during which time she has worked in fashion, advertising, bollywood and editorials like Harper's Bazaar, Femina, FHM, and Cosmopolitan, among other magazines.

Zakia has photographed Indian men who have inspired and continue to inspire India to greater heights. She has also worked with top actors and models including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepti Naval, Katrina Kaif, Sanjay Dutt, Frieda Pinto, Anil Kapoor, Preity Zinta, Akshaye Khanna, Manisha Koirala, Nana Patekar, Bipasha Basu, Malaika Arora Khan, Dia Mirza & Randeep.
