Synopsis With new agriculture policy in place, emphasis on crop diversification, value addition and export is on ascendancy. Therefore, horticulture is receiving special attention and a number of states have already established separate directorates and the SAUs separate faculties for the development of horticulture. This has called for the development of relevant literature.
