Rajiva Kumar Sinha

Rajiva Kumar Sinha (B:1955) is a professor in the University Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology, T.M. Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur, Bihar. Author of books namely, Geographical Factors in Early Indian Economy (Motilal Banarasidass, Delhi - 2002) and Manjusha Art: Reflections in Folklore, Trade & Regional History (Shivalik Prakashan, Delhi - 2012), Rajiva Kumar Sinha has also edited books on early Indian history & culture, particularly on Buddhism such as Studies in History & Archaeology of Vikramasila Mahavihara:The last Beacon of Buddhist Philosophy. He has published more than 40 articles and research papers in national and international journals on Socio-Economic & Religious history of Early Bihar & Jharkhand. He is one of the editors of Bodhi-Chakra, the journal of Buddhist History & Culture published by the Bauddha Sanaskriti Kendra, Patna of which is also the Vice-President. He is also the executive editor of Asia Prashant, the journal of Indian Congress of Asia & Pacific Studies, Varanasi.
