Dr. N.B. Singh is currently working as Assistant Director general (Oilseeds & Pulses) at the ICAR, New Delhi. Dr. Singh is Ph.D. in Plant Breeding from the reputed University of Minnesota, USA. He has served Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa (Bihar) as Professor of Plant Breeding for more than one decade. As distinguished Professor, he has served International Crops Research Institute for Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Hyderabad as visiting scientist for more than three years. He has contributed a number of research papers in the area of Pulse Crops Improvement in national and international journals of repute. He has long experience of working at ICAR, New Delhi as Assistant Director General of Pulses and Oilseeds. He is well recognized for his research contributions in both pulses and oilseeds.

Shiva Saran Das is Professor in Chemistry, D.D.U. Gorakhpur University. He has been teaching Physical Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry for the last 27 years. He has been Dean, Students Welfare, D.D.U. Gorakhpur University and is a member and office bearer of different academic bodies. Presently, Dr. Das is General Secretary of Indian Association of Solid State Chemists and Allied Scientists, Jammu. He was also Executive Member of Indian Thermal Analysis Society, B.A.R.C., Mumbai for two terms. He is a recipient of number of medals and awards for his academic contributions. His main area of research is materials science, polymer chemistry, solid state chemistry and thermodynamics. He has published more than 60 research papers in National and International journals of repute and has supervised 14 Ph.D. students.
