Synopsis The Tantric knowledge and rituals occupy a very important place in the Vedic literature and rituals. There have been many alterations, additions and deletions from there scriptures in regard to tantra. Besides this tantra occupies a very prominent place in the Buddhist scriptures also. This book consists of tantra in Hindu as well as in Buddhist scriptures. The book fulfils a long felt need of providing very authentic knowledge on tantra. There are very few authentic books on Tantra and religion in India. Tantra occupies a very important part in the Vedic literature and as such deserves special attention from scholars of Indology. A very bold initiative has been taken in preparing this book. It is hoped that this book will be able to provide sufficient material to students of Tantra and the historical researchers.
