Fakir Ram completed his Masters' degree in Sociology from Agra University. He started his career in UP Police and served for over two decades. He also took a PG Diploma in Human Rights. A staunch human rights activist at core, after retirement he has been actively engaged with organisations, especially interested in monitoring Human Rights issues.
