Kewal Anand is journalist by training and profession and a noted social activist raising various socio-economic issues, has been operational in backward regions of Central Himalayas (Uttarakhand). Also is consultant to leading NGO devoted for poverty alleviation and environmental protection in the region. Having a Masters's degree in sociology and political science alongwith a PG Diploma in Journalist and Mass Communication, he writes on contemporary issues. This book is his major published work.
