Studies in Indian Poetry in English

U.S. Rukhaiyar (Editor) Amar Nath Prasad (Editor)
Synopsis Studies in Indian Poetry in English is an humble venture to present a critical and analytical study of some of the major poets and poems. The book contains more than twenty scholarly articles from eminent scholars from different parts of the country. It includes almost all the major Indian poets in English e.g., Toru Dutt, Rabindranath Tagore, Sri Aurobindo, Sarojini Naidu, Swami Vivekanand, Nissim Ezekiel, Kamala Das, A.K. Ramanujan, Keri N. Daruwalla, Jayanta Mahapatra O.P. Bhatnagar and Bibhu Padhi. In view of the inadequacy of standard critical studies on Indian poetry in English, this book, it is hoped, will prove to be an asset to all those who want to acquaint themselves with the concerned subject.

Dr. Samiran Kumar Paul - An Excellent Work On John Keats Jan, 01, 1970

Requriting John Keats by Dr. AmarNath Prasaad is a good attempt to bring out this anthology which is highly recommended for the teachers and research scholars in the universities of India and abroad. The paper of Dr. S.K.Paul deals with Negative capability of his odes and other poems in the new light. The editor's paper on "Ode to Nightingale" shows a Yogic concept in Keats's poetry. The other articles by Dr.Anita Ghosh and Dr.Kanupriya and others are also very thought provoking,
