Their elaborate religious belief system, rites and rituals are discussed along with the moral embodiment in their belief system.

M. Daniel

Prof. Mammen Daniel is presently the Head, Department of Botany of the maharaja Sayajirao university of Baroda, Vadodara. He obtained M.Sc. from Kerala University and Ph.D. from M.S. University. An acclaimed authority on Phytochemistry and herbal technology, he has authored seven books and more than 110 research publications. His other areas of research interest are Taxonomy, Allelopathy and Phytoalexins.
