Synopsis In the summers of 1998, India conducted five nuclear tests, followed by Pakistanis six nuclear tests, at the end of the same month. These nuclear explosions enforced the policy makers of South Asia to redefine the traditional dimensions of security in the region, on the other hand these circumstances prompted the united Sates and other Western Powers to reconsider regarding their campaign of Nuclear Non-Proliferation, according the changing dimensions of the world.
