About the authors

Darshan K. Narang

Darshan K. Narang is Assistant professor in Post Graduate department of Home Science, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She had obtained her M.Sc. in Child Development from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University (1977) and Ph.D. from Uni. of Raj. (1996). Her areas of interest are early childhood education, adolescence, working women and women empowerment. She has supervised many research scholars and has presented papers at national & international level. She has been associated with many preschools, NGO’s working for underprivileged children and worked for care, Jaipur India, Bodh Shiksha Samiti and developed manuals for undergraduate students.

Rikhita Singhal

Rikhita Singhal is an M.Sc. (H.Sc.) and also holds a doctorate in Human development from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur (Raj.) She is Assistant Prof. In Maharani Padmini Girls College, Chaksu, Jaipur. She worked as Supervisor in Shishu Needh (RUWA) for 5 years. She has also worked with special need children and in various NGOs.

Kavita Koradia

Kavita Koradia is Assistant Professor in Post Graduate Department of Home Science, university of Rajasthan, Jaipur from last 20 years. She was awarded Gold medal in M.Sc. with specialization in Human development in the year 1985 from College of Home Science, MLSU, Udaipur and PH.D. (Psychology) in 1998 from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Her fields of interest are Working Women, Children and Elderly, Stress, Coping, Spiritual Quotient, Emotional Quotient, Body language, Communication Skills, Happiness, Self-Efficacy, Multiple Intelligence and personality types etc. She has contributed a number of research papers in these fields and presented papers in international conferences too. At present number of research students are working for their dissertations and Ph.D. degrees under her guidance. She has developed few guidance. She has developed few instruments like Spiritual Quotient, R-S scale etc.
