He got his M.A., M.B.A., degrees from Madurai Kamaraj University, B.Ed., from Madras University, M.Phil. (Eco.), M.Phil. (Mgt.) and Ph.D. (Eco.) from Bharathidasan University. He has 10 years of teaching experience. He is associated with number of professional bodies. He authored one book and presented many papers in the national and international seminars.
