Vinod Khanna

Dr. Vinod Khanna, born on 1st August 1951, is working with Zoological Survey of India.  He completed his Post graduation in Zoology-Entomology from Allahabad University in the year 1972.  He has been awarded D. Phil from the Garhwal University on the topic "Taxonomic and Econogical Studies on the Scolopendrid Centipeds (Chilopoda: Scolopendromorpha: Scolopendridae) from Western Himalaya, U.P." In the year 1988.  Dr. Khanna is a lifetime Associate Member of the Centre International de Myriapodologie (CIM) - a unit run by Museum Nationale de Histore Naturelle, Paris France, and a member of IUCN, Switzerland.  He has more than 100 research papers to his credit on Centipeds and a book on "Globally Threatened Indian Fauna".
