S K Dhawan

Librarian and journalist, S.K. Dhawan, (born 13 March 1943) is in the library profession since 1963. As librarian, he has served in the Libraries of various reputed organizations Delhi. Currently he is the chief Librarian, Publication and Broadcasting New Delhi. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts from Delhi University and "Sahityalankar" (Hons. In Hindi) from Deoghar, Bihar. He did his Cert Lib Sc from Gwalior and Postgraduate Dip in Lib Sc from Delhi (Awarded Ranganathan memorial Gold Medal). He is the author of Several compliations, bibliographies, chronologies, book reviews articles and stories. His publications include "Guru Tegh Bahadur: The Ninth guru" and "Research and Reference Division: A Study, At present he is engaged in preparing one of his forthcoming work "Nehru and Books"
