Dr. Mehta is Tribal Expert Consultant recognized by ICSSR, New Delhi and Ph.D. Guide (Supervisor) from Department of Economics, C.S.S.H., M.L. Sukhadia University, Udaipur (Rajasthan). He is serving Evaluation Organisation, Rajasthan. He has served District Gazetteers Department, Rajasthan and Tribal Research Institute, Rajasthan, Udaipur earlier. A number of his articles have been published in several books and journals and more than dozen books on various tribal problems have been published so far and a number of titles are in process.
