Mahmud Ali Durrani

Major General (Retd.) Mahmud Ali Durrani has had the distinction of serving as Pakistan’s Defense and Military Attache in Washington, DC, for five years, (1977-1982). This was a critical period in US – Pakistan relations, and the general’s meritorious services earned him the US Legion of Merit as well as the Pakistani Sitara-e-Basalat awards. He is also the recipient of the Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military).
