Biswas, Professor & Head, Department of Life Sciences, Dibrugarh University, Assam has been working on various aspects of fish and fisheries of the Brahmaputra River fort he last three decades. So far, he has supervised 5 research projects, guided 12 Ph.D. Scholars, and published 4 books and about 70 research papers in various national and international journals.
