About the author

Shiv Dua

Dr. Shiv Dua, M.A., D.I. Hom., H.M.D. (London) learned homoeopathy from his father whose guidance and books motivated him to adopt a practical approach. By profession, he was a drilling officer in Geological Survey of India and spent 35 years of his life in jungles, hills and deserts working in remote villages, where he practiced homoeopathy on charitable basis especially in areas where basic medical facilities were missing. He has written more than 50 homoeopathic articles for leading newspapers like Rajasthan Patrika and Dainik Bhaskar, Jaipur. He is a contributor of homoeopathic articles for homoeopathic magazines like The Homoeopathic Heritage, Hahnemann Homoeo Sandesh and Vital Informer. He is a member of Delhi Homoeopathic Medical Association and is on the editorial board of Homoeopathic Sandesh (now an advisor). He is also a member of H.M.A.I., Faridabad unit. He is now working as a medical officer in Lion's Club Homoeopathic Dharmarth Hospital, Gopi Colony, Old Faridabad, on charitable basis.
